CELLULOSE ACETATE
Crafted without compromise, each frame begins with an exceptional material: genuine Mazzucchelli cellulose acetate. Produced in Italy by the world's most prestigious acetate manufacturer since 1849, Mazzucchelli is revered throughout the luxury eyewear industry for its extraordinary depth, richness, durability, and unmistakable refinement.
Derived from natural cotton fibres and carefully selected wood pulp, this noble material possesses a warmth and luminosity that synthetic alternatives can never replicate. Its depth of colour, silky touch, and enduring beauty make it the preferred choice of the finest eyewear houses in the world.
Every MR.AB frame is an exclusive in-house design, meticulously handcrafted in Spain by skilled artisans. Rather than being assembled from separate components, each piece is sculpted from a single block of Mazzucchelli acetate, preserving the purity and integrity of the material while allowing for absolute precision in every contour.
