(Murcia, 1972) lives and works in Murcia (Spain). He is a creator of a simple but imaginative work that seeks to tell stories.stories. He is currently working and exhibiting in galleries in different countries (Spain, Taiwan, South Korea,...). In the last years he has shown his work in art fairs and his work in contemporary art fairs such as Art Central HK (Hong Kong), Art Taipei HK (Hong Kong), Art Taipei or Art Sholo (Taiwan), Art021 Shanghai, KIAF (South Korea), Art Karlsruhe (Germany), Estampa (Madrid), Context Miami (USA). He has received grants from the Joan Miró Foundation (Mallorca), Casa Falconieri (Sardinia), the Guanlan Art Center (China) and the Guanlan (China) and the Kloster Bentlage Art Center (Germany).
Yagües imagines the interior of the head and the human body as a place where stories take place, where ideas come to life and take on literal meaning. His caricatured characters, full of energy and and tenderness, are already provoking smiles in corners of the world after his exhibitions in Taiwan, South Korea, Germany, Sweden, China, the U.S. and Japan, Sweden, China, the United States and Japan, among others.
